June : Borders

The borders look stunning.

The colours and variety of flowers and foliage, and the massive lushness of everything is fabulous.
Every colour this year. I’ve given up on good taste and colour combinations, and the freed up, unrestrained result is so pleasing.

Spare pink Marguerites from the raised border opposite the back door have been jemmied into gaps in the herbaceous border that previously didn’t appear to exist.
I read about overcrowding borders. Why not? I overcrowd overcrowded borders, and then overcrowd them some more for good measure. After all this I celebrate any random plants that appear in the midst of it all.

The abundance makes it all the better.
