The Caraboat

An unlikely and unfinished project. It was a 1970’s idea; a combination of a caravan and a boat, and naturally, a real bargain! It was neither one thing or the other, and guaranteed to invite hysterical ridicule from more purist, more conservative, boat and caravan owners. This potential reaction didn’t bother us, but renovating and fitting out what was a mud filled shell seemed like a project too far.

It sat on our drive for a while, then we dug all the mud out from inside and G sold it at an impressive profit on eBay.
